In Korean culture, children receive money on New Year's day for bowing to their elders. She's too young to bow this year but received her first "bowing money" anyway from Great-grandma. Bella is the only baby in our extended family right now and everyone wants to hold her when they see her. Unfortunately, she still has some separation anxiety so she won't let anyone hold her for too long. It was fun to see all my aunts and uncles trying their best to win Bella's attention. It's really too bad that we don't live close enough for us to visit more often. Due to the holidays, Bella's been sleeping in the car for her 2nd nap for the last 4 days. I hope she'll be okay going back to her regular nap schedule starting tomorrow.
We're about to go out to lunch with some friends the last day of 2007.

"Goodbye 2007!" Thanks to my parents all 3 of us can be in the picture.
People in Korea wear their traditional Korean outfit on New Year's day to go visit their elders.
We're going to have her wear her Chinese dress on Chinese New Year. It's neat she has 2 other cultures she can embrace other than being just "American".
She's also sporting a new "side ponytail" hair do thanks to Grandma.
